The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care in support of a provider in an ambulatory care setting. Demonstrated effective time management skills. Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing ambulatory nursing care as appropriate for patients in the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, Young Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal. Demonstrated ability to interact positively with all levels of staff, practitioners, employers, insurers and patients. Excellent critical thinking, sound judgment, and problem solving skills essential to respond quickly and manage multiple priorities. Uses effective time management skills and exhibits initiative for spending time productively. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in developing and promoting high performance work groups. Moderate physical activity including ability to assist patients, frequent ambulation and prolonged standing.

High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of accredited LVN Program. Current California LVN license. IV certified, or obtains IV certification within 60 days of hire. One year's experience in ambulatory care setting preferred.  Current certification in CPR. Demonstrated effective time management skills. Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing ambulatory nursing care as appropriate for patients in the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, Young Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal. Demonstrated ability to interact positively with all levels of staff, practitioners, employers, insurers and patients. Excellent critical thinking, sound judgment, and problem solving skills essential to respond quickly and manage multiple priorities. Uses effective time management skills and exhibits initiative for spending time productively. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in developing and promoting high performance work groups. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 and 5:30. Bilingual preferred.
